モーツァルト作曲のオペラ「フィガロの結婚」のワンシーン。小姓ケルビーノが女中スザンナのギターに合わせて、憧れの伯爵夫人ロジーナに自作の歌「恋とはどんなものかしら」を披露しています。
二人はかなり年が離れているのですが、伯爵夫人は悪い気はしていない様子。
This illustration is a scene from the opera “The Marriage of Figaro” by Mozart.
The count's page Cherubino performs his own song, “Tell me what love is” to the adoring Countess Rosina Almaviva, accompanied by the countess's maid Susanna's guitar.
They have age gap, but the countess does not seem to feel bad.
「ボーイケサペーテ～♪」の有名な旋律は、音楽の授業で聴いた事がある人も多いのでなないでしょうか。1786年に30才のモーツァルトが作曲したものです。
Many of you may have heard a well-known melody “Voi che sapete” in school music class. It was composed in 1786 by a 30-year-old Mozart.
タイトルはイタリア語で
「フィガロの結婚」"Le nozze di Figaro" と書いてあります。
※イタリアではほとんど筆記体を使わないそうなので、読めるようにFをブロック体風にしています。
The title is written in Italian as “Le nozze di Figaro”.
※Italic cursive is ralely use , so I changed "F" to block-letters-like looks so that many people can read.
イラスト上部のイタリア語は

「恋とはどんなものかご存知のご婦人方」
で、ケルビーノの歌の歌い出しです。

means
"You ladies who know what love is".
It's the beginning of the Cherubino song.
スザンナの首元の白い布は「フィシュー／fichu」と呼ばれ、貴族から平民まで幅広く見られる1780年頃からのファッションです。ロジーナ伯爵夫人はローブ・ア・ラ・フランセーズを着ています。胸元のドレスの部品 "ストマッカー" には、この頃から見られるボックスプリーツの飾りがついています。
The white cloth around Susanna's neck is called “fichu” a fashion from around 1780 that is widely seen among both nobility and commoners.
Countess Rosina is wearing a Robe à la française. The “stomacher” a parts of the dress at the chest, is decorated with box pleats seen from this period.
今回私が印刷したのはローソンのコピー機です。
があるかをチェックし2Lサイズ（127×178mm、300円）で印刷しました。そのまま印刷するとイラストがはみ出た状態で印刷されてしまうかもしれないので「プリント領域」の設定で一回り小さく印刷しています。
I printed this sticker at (Japanese convenience store) Lawson 's copier.

I printed in size "2L" 127×178mm, 300 yen). You should set "a size smaller" not to stick out illustrations.
シールの切り抜きに利用したハサミは長谷川刃物の「CANARY」極細デザイン用DS-100と、OLFA（オルファ）のアートナイフ10BSです。大きなカーブはハサミ、細かな切り替えし部分などはアートナイフで切り取りました。ナイフは普通のカッターよりグラつかず使いやすかったです。
I used 長谷川刃物(Hasegawa Hamono)「CANARY」極細デザイン用(for extra fine design ) DS-100 and OLFA アートナイフ(Art knife)10BS for cut out stickers.
Large curves were cut out with scissors, and small changeover point were cut out with an art knife. Art knife wasn't wobble than normal cutter knife.
細かなカーブがなかなか難しかったです…！若干内側を切るイメージで作業すると仕上がりが綺麗。作業していると細かなシールのケバが出るので、下の写真のようにマスキングテープを輪っかにしてそばに置いておくと貼り付けられて便利ですよ。
今回は右上のカッターのマーク部分も切り抜くのをお忘れなく！！
Detailed curves were so hard to cut out...! It might be good to cut slight inside than border. When you cutting out stickers, it come out tiny dust. So you should put masking tape ring on cutting board to put them just like the image below.
Don't forget to cut out the cutter mark section at the upper right.
切り抜き作業の次は表紙のベースになる画用紙選びです。ユザワヤのバラ売りで買ったものから、色味の合うものを探していきます。
The next step is to select the colored drawing paper that will be base for the cover.
Choose the one from I bought in separately at Yuzawaya(Japanese art & handicraft shop) that's match to illustration.
今回はB6サイズのCampusのノートとカバー（別売り）を使用しましたが、100円ショップのカバー付きのノートがあれば安く仕上がりますよ。
This time I choice B6 size Campus notebook(Japanese popular notebook) and jacket cover(sold separately), but cheapest way is get them at the 100yen shop if you can find them.
画用紙は「使用済みの」ボールペンで背の部分に折り目を付けておくと、シールを貼る位置も分かりやすく、綺麗に仕上げる事が出来ます。
今回背は4ミリだったので、画用紙の2つの対角線から中央にバツ印の目印を付けて、そこからそれぞれ左右に2ミリと少しのところで折り目を付けました。
Mark on the drawing paper with "used ballpoint pen" where the part of the "spine of the notebook", then you can positioning the sticker easier, and fold the paper beautifully too.
The spine was 4mm this time, so I made a cross mark in the center from the two diagonals of the drawing paper, and then make fold-ditch from there to the each left and right at 2mm and a bit.

今回ノートの表紙が画用紙からはみ出てしまったので、新しい色画用紙で作り直しました…。凹凸のある画用紙だったので、シールは簡単に剥がれて貼り直す事ができましたよ。
余裕をもって画用紙全体を横262mm×縦183.5mmで切り直しました。背も余裕をもって4.5mmに。
This time, the cover of the notebook was stick out from the drawing paper, so I had to remake it with new colored drawing paper....
Since it was uneven drawing paper, the stickers could be easily removed and reapplied.
With margin, I re-cut entire paper in 262 mm (W) x 183.5 mm (H). The spine changed to 4.5mm with margin too.
又、正確な位置に貼れるようにシールを貼る予定の上部、下部、そして左右のうち分かりやすい部分にシャーペンでマークを付けました。貼り付け後に消しゴムで消します。
I marked the top, bottom, and left and right areas where I planned to place the sticker with a mechanical pencil so that I could place the sticker in the correct position.
After put the sticker, I erased them with an eraser.
